MEET THE SHE-WOLF OF EDITING!

In the most basic terms, I am a lifelong, prolific editor, writer, and bibliophile who spent my childhood devouring everything from R.L. Stine and H.G. Wells to J.R.R. Tolkien and Lewis Carroll and establishing my love for fantasy and horror.

My earliest inspiration came from an elementary school English teacher, who took note of my emerging writer’s voice (my howl, if you will) and told me to pursue it, feed it, and never stop refining it. And there were only two ways to do that: keep writing and keep reading. Much of my younger days were spent reading as many books as possible while scribbling down any and all story ideas that popped into my head.

As a young adult, I discovered a new passion: encouraging fellow writers by helping them develop their voice as a writer, fleshing out story concepts, and providing a second set of eyes to ensure the final product looked its absolute best. I realized the editing process wasn’t limited to my own work, but rather it was a cooperative, collaborative effort: a place where unique backgrounds, world views, and personal journeys were meant to be brought together and celebrated.

Origin of the WolfPack

I’ve always shared a deep love and respect for wolves with my dad. Even now as an adult, he and I often trade online videos of these extraordinary animals, and wolf-themed adult coloring books are one of my favorite pastimes. We also love to read and trade books between ourselves, even authors and genres that we normally wouldn’t check out on our own, and chat about whatever book we’re reading that week. Across these many conversations, my dad has provided an abundance of “what if?” ideas to fuel my imagination and send me down creative rabbit holes of which I think Lewis Carroll would be proud.

But a fantastic imagination only gets you so far. You also need to know how to craft a story that brings the fruits of your creativity to life. And that’s where my mom comes in.

As long as I can remember, my mom has always been the one I go to for reviewing my written work—whether it was homework assignments or some silly story I wrote. Her eye for grammatical perfection was indispensable when it came to providing the best product I could and encouraging me to learn from each mistake, so I always provide the best to the best of my abilities. Across these many lessons, I’ve developed the “nitpick” side of my brain to take a sentence, tweak it, check the tweak, and tweak it again until the words flow just right.

Like the perfect match of a pack’s leaders, my dad’s creativity and my mom’s craft came together in my brain over the years: the imagination of the Wolf and the effectiveness of the Pack.

And the WolfPack was born.

An Editor Who Gets You as a Writer

In 2025, I published my debut book, Blue Eyes. The journey of bringing this little Christmas tale through the editing phase, illustration contracts, copyright filing, and, finally, releasing it out into the wild was nerve-wracking and exhausting, but ultimately so rewarding. I was already a prolific self-editor, but sending my manuscript through a professional editor was a humbling experience that helped me find my voice as an author and identify the successful aspects of my writing style—and show me where I could use some improvement.

As your editor, I bring my eye for detail and the craft of perfecting a sentence. As a fellow writer, I meet you in the place where the writer’s voice is always growing stronger, worlds are expanding into fantastical realms, and characters are embarking on journeys of personal discovery. I’m excited to dig deep with you and refine the diamond out of the rough until it’s a true work of art for the world to enjoy.

Bring your passion, I’ll bring mine, and let’s create this world together.
